The Google Internet bus comes to Bengal


The Google Internet bus
The Google Internet bus project is an attempt by Google to educate the people of India about the internet and how it can change their lives.In a country where even today , outside of the largest cities internet awareness isn't as high as it should be , this endeavor aims at changing that.

The Internet bus which has already covered 11 states and 130 cities across the nation has finally arrived in Bengal.It hit the streets of Kolkata the day before yesterday , on November 24 , and will run through several other locations ( complete route below ) in the state.

The Internet bus is a customized internet enabled vehicle with numerous computers and devices on board which will be available to the public for use (see picture below).
